Isla Katharine

Isla is here! Born 7/23 at 12:42pm, she's 7#14 and 19.75 inches long.

The girls met yesterday and Imogen was interested and excited, especially as Isla brought sparkly shoes and Imogen scored a new water bottle.

We are home now and will post more pics soon.

Fourth of July at Trillium Lake

This trooper hiked 2 miles around the lake today - and nearly all of it before we found a spot to stop for lunch. Imogen did pretty well too. Ha ha. It was a beautiful day on the mountain followed by dinner with good friends and Imogen's first fireworks.

Imogen was psyched to paint her own face on a class field trip to the Children's Museum last week. (I chaperoned.)

Aunt Anne came to town

Aunt Anne popped by to hike with us and then take us to lunch. It was a beautiful day in Portland and such a treat to catch up.

The basement is almost ready

Palm Springs

We had a great vacation in Palm Springs in April. We swam every day, visited Joshua Tree National Park, fed a giraffe, rode the tram to hike in a pine forest, checked out nearby dinosaurs and capped the week off visiting with Emma and Anders.
