Contraptions and Baths

With a teething, cranky baby on our hands, we thought to ourselves, what's a fun distraction for everyone? So naturally, we turned to a recent addition to our house, a contraption that's almost too big to fit in any room: the Rainforest Jumperoo. As you can see in this video, what's important is that she gets a big kick out of it:

After a little Jumperoo fun, it was time for a bath. Imogen also enjoys bath time (the fun/cute comes after the first few seconds):

Matching shirts!

Fortunately, when you're seven months old it's not a fashion faux pas to have the same shirt. It's really cute. This is Imogen's friend Naomi (daughter of our friends Marah and David) at our house Saturday morning. They spend their weekdays together as well at St James.

March, including Nana's visit

Nana came for a quick weekend. We packed a lot in, including a hike to Mt Tabor, Imogen's first vegetable (sweet potatoes, which she loved), a trip to the Portland Art Museum, a visit to W+K and dinner at Jake's.

Nana was treated to Imogen's new tricks: saying "Da da da," and "zzzsss," trying to stay sitting up, and chattering away to us.

Thanks again for coming, Nana!

Hanging Out

Imogen sure enjoys her "Johnny Jump Up!"

Snow Shoeing!

We realized this week that both the seasons of winter and having a small baby are coming to end, so if we were going to go snow shoeing with Imogen, this weekend was one of our last chances! As a result, we woke up at a decent hour this morning, loaded the car, and headed to Trillium Lake on Mt. Hood for some winter fun.

Imogen enjoyed testing out her gear before hitting the road...

Imogen enjoyed herself so much that she fell asleep before we got back to the car...
