2nd Annual Camping Trip

We camped on Mount Hood with the Laneys and the Davitzs last weekend.  Last year, we were only brave enough to go for one night, but this year we survived two.  The kids had a blast and the all four Newells came home and napped for three hours.

We had a blast in Madison including dancing to live music at a lakefront festival, checking out Lake Mendota and an accordion bath and accordion dinner.

Cousins!

It would be impossible to overstate how much fun Imogen had with her cousins. The feeling was mutual, and a week later we still talk about 'My Annika,' Peter and TJ. And here's a great shot of Hillybilly-Imogen in the Levi's diapers her father and Aunt Tina picked out :)

Lee Street Beach with Annie and Katie

What a great week in Madison and Chicago! Here are some of the first pics from our awesome trip. On Thursday, Annie, Katie and I took Imogen to Lee Street Beach for the very first time. Highlights included wearing her Auntie's hats and getting sand absolutely everywhere.
