July 4th with cousins
Like Mother, Like Daughter
One of the treats of our Michigan trip was visiting with the Radlinski family. It had been far too long since we'd all seen each other.
Imogen and Claire - chatting as their mothers used to do for hours (long distance, at 10 cents a minute!)

Stacy and me and our girls. (No pics of Jake and Luke as they were having a blast at the beach for most of our visit).

The Cottage!
We spent a week at the Cottage in Grand Haven, eating sand, exploring the beach and mastering crawling in an non-baby-proof environment (Imogen) and eating, relaxing and sleeping when we could (Hanna and Matt).

Checking out sand for the first time.

And then immediately sucking her thumb.

One of the less safe toys at the cottage.

Oh, and one more thing. Nana wrote and assembled all of Aunt Emma's wedding invitations over two days. We helped assemble, but here she is in her sweat shop.

We kept them in the over so the humidity wouldn't ruin the envelope glue!

Sarah Joan's wedding
We started our 12 day trip celebrating the wedding of my cousin Sarah to Scott.
Meeting cousin Katy and second cousin Brock, who LOVED kissing Imogen!

Great Grandmother with her four great-grandchildren: Hannah, Katelynn, Imogen and Brock.

Grandpa comes to visit
Grandpa came for a long weekend. We had beautiful weather and made our first trip to the Zoo, the Farmer's Market and the aerial tram.

Grandpa was very into the ipad and played tunes for me at breakfast.

Imogen is getting very good at feeding herself, which pleases her immensely.

Thank you for the onesie, Shiela!

On the aerial tram to OHSU (where Imogen was born!).

Now that the weather is warm, we're trying to have most bottles on the front porch.

Grandpa let Imogen play with his face much of the weekend.

I was able to take my Dad on my favorite Columbia River Gorge hike.

And he was able to help distract Imogen from teething pain on Sunday afternoon.
